WHAT WE DO. 

DAY CAMP

​

Our #1 goal is to provide FUN! We offer a 4-hour play and train day camp for your dog. We want to meet each dog's physical, mental and social needs while in our care. 

​

What you will first notice about Action Packs that differs from most is that we do not kennel the dogs. We function as a pack meaning we play, train and rest in a pack setting and follow pack rules. Our dog tenders look at the group to offer leadership and guidance when needed. We use positive reinforcement techniques while training and follow a structured play/train/rest itinerary. Dog tenders control the pack's energy while maintaining each dog's safety and needs.

 

During sessions, we train dogs by reviewing camp rules

and use the pack and off-leash dog park as a reward to help reinforce learning. 

For example, at camp, your dog will learn "SIT/STAY" at all gates and will only enter and exit when told "RELEASE,"....even when distracted by friends on the other side of the fence.

Teaching recall is also critical in a pack setting, and each dog will quickly learn to "COME" and " LINE UP" when called by name and to take treats close to other dogs without resource guarding. 

We designed the drop-off area to be close to the dog park so the dogs can see cars pull up and leave, helping us desensitize dogs to strange people/cars and not to bark when seeing their humans or meeting new people.    

 

No excessive barking, humping or aggressive play is allowed. 

 

What also makes us unique is that our camp sessions

are 4 hours long. A typical session includes a balance of free play, structured play, pack training exercises and rest time.

It is essential to understand that your dog will have 4 hours

of off-leash play, training and rest periods in a supervised setting. After a 4-hour session, your dog will be physically and mentally exhausted.

 

SHUTTLE SERVICE 

YES, WE HAVE A SHUTTLE! 

​It can be inconvenient for some clients to drop off/pick up

after 4 hours, so we offer a door-to-door shuttle to

make their lives seamless. 

​

 

 

 

 

HOW IT WORKS?

Sign up for an in-person assessment at the farm, where we will determine your dog's needs.
​
Daily 4-hour sessions are available, with self serve drop-offs between 8 am-10 am and

pick-ups between 12 pm - 2 pm.
​
Shuttle service starts after 7:00 am, with daily runs into London, Dorchester and Thamesford.

$45 + HST

If you have the time or the shuttle is at capacity,

self-service the service for you.

We supply four hours of structured and supervised play.

Drop-off times are between 8 am and 10 am
Pick-up times are between 12 pm and 2 pm

DOG DAY CAMP
SHUTTLE SERVICE

$55 + HST

Let our shuttle service do the driving for you.

 

We pick up your pup and drop it off after four hours of fun and socialization, with pick-up times varying,

depending on shuttle availability.

The best part is you don't have to be home.

Clients provide us with a spare key or door code and we follow specific drop off instructions for each dog.
